National Registry Psychomotor Exam, Roseville or Livermore, CA

Registration:

You must be registered with both NCTI & NREMT by the deadline (see dates below) to secure and confirm your reservation. National Registry requires you to bring a PATT (pre-authorization to test) letter with you on the day of the exam. Please be advised, you will not be permitted to test if you do not bring this letter and a government issued form of ID on the day of your exam. A valid PATT number is also required at the time of registration with NCTI.

Before registering for this exam, please follow these directions:

Step 1: Visit nremt.org to Create Your Account

If you do not already have a NREMT account with a username and password, create a New Account on the NREMT homepage. If you forgot your username or password, use the Password Recovery Page for assistance.

Step 2: Login and Update User Profile

Complete all the information in the Personal Account Information fields as prompted. The name you include in this area should exactly match the name on your driver’s license or your official government-issued identification. This is the name that will appear on your application, PATT, NREMT certificate, and all official documents issued by the NREMT upon successful completion of the examination.

Step 3: Create a New Application

Click on Create Certification Application to apply to take your exam. Review the Personal Information Summary – if any items are incorrect, you can make corrections by clicking on Manage Account Information. Select the application level you wish to complete.

Step 4: Verify That You Have Been Approved to Test

A PATT will not be issued until your program director has affirmed the candidate’s course completion or early psychomotor eligibility. When all areas of the application process are completed and have been verified, you can click on the Psychomotor ATTs link under My Application on your CBT Candidate dashboard and print your PATT.

Step 5: Schedule Your Psychomotor Examination

Important Information:

Please note, candidates may be offered the opportunity for same-day retest. If so, skill retests are $65.00 per skill, with the exception of the Integrated Out of Hospital Scenario, which is $95.00. Acceptable forms of payment are Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover), Debit Card (must have Visa/Mastercard logo), or Check (exact amount only).

Testing Fees for Paramedic:

NCTI Paramedic Practical Exam: $330.00

NCTI Paramedic Retest:  Static Cardiology, Dynamic Cardiology, Patient Assessment-Trauma, Oral A, Oral B: $65.00 per skill. Integrated Out of Hospital Scenario: $95. (See acceptable forms of payment above.)

NOTE: IF YOU ARE A PARAMEDIC STUDENT - CHOOSE PARAMEDIC FULL EXAM LEVEL. THE EXAM LEVEL IS THE SKILL YOU ARE TESTING FOR NOT YOUR CURRENT STATUS.

National Registry requires NCTI to reserve exams for all prospective candidates two weeks prior to the exam date. Therefore, it is necessary for NCTI to enforce the following policy: There will be no refunds and no rollovers for the National Registry exam. Submission of registration form and payment indicate acceptance of this policy.

***Please note: If you cancel your reservation less than two weeks prior to the psychomotor exam, NREMT will not permit registration for another exam until the current exam has been processed, which can take a few weeks. Likewise, if same day retesting is offered and you choose not to retest, you must wait until the current test is processed by NREMT before you can be added to another roster
